There are moments in the life of your child that should last forever. Sitting in your lap, reading a book, skipping around the yard, carefree, holding a flower to discover the beautiful details of the world. These are precious moments that will last as they grow into the wonderful people they will become.
As a photographer, and mother, I capture those moments with care.
Along with classic portraits, I love to take those special, secret, magical moments of children enjoying their ever-changing world.
Please consider Fiddlehead Photo when looking for family portraits that will capture your child, your family, and this amazing time in your lives.
Why Fiddlehead?
Fiddleheads happen only once a year. They are the early growth of a fern that you could find in any forest, or yard.
I happened upon them not too long ago while I was walking, and found them fascinating and beautiful. They are named because they do in fact look like the head of a fiddle until, after a few weeks of sun and rain, they blossom into the long, leefy ferns that cover the forest ground.
Fiddleheads make a dark forest look magical and interesting. They can turn a patch of ground that will soon be overgrown and dark, look new and fresh. They make it known that spring has arrived-the long winter is over. New things are happening. And they are beautiful.
They remind me of children-and the brief moments we have until they grow out into their own forest.
